Meet the Therapists

Meet

Jen Simon

Hi, I’m Jen Simon, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Kansas and Missouri. I’ve been providing mental health support since earning my degree from the University of Kansas in 2006, where I focused on mental health treatment.

I specialize in working with older teens and adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, low motivation, difficulty finding satisfaction, and low self-esteem. I also have extensive experience helping individuals who are in crisis, including those navigating suicidal thoughts, disruptive behaviors, or intense anger.

In addition to individual therapy, I have worked with adolescents and adults facing challenges related to substance use in both residential and outpatient settings.

My therapeutic style is supportive, goal-oriented, and collaborative. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients build insight, develop coping tools, and create lasting change. Whether I am working with an individual or a family, my goal is to help each person feel heard, empowered, and successful in reaching their treatment goals.

If you are looking for a therapist who is compassionate, practical, and committed to helping you grow, I would be honored to work with you.

Meet

Baillie Woydziak

Hi, I’m Baillie Woydziak. I’m passionate about helping people find hope, build confidence, and achieve the success they’re looking for. I work collaboratively with my clients to address a variety of challenges, including anxiety, OCD, depression, school or work stress, family conflict, life transitions, and more.

Whether you’re seeking therapy for the first time or returning to it, taking that first step toward growth is both courageous and meaningful. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and complemented by tools from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and other evidence-based practices. This allows me to create a treatment plan that is tailored to your unique needs and goals.

My background includes experience in education, home-based healthcare, and at Children’s Mercy Hospital. These experiences have shaped my belief in the power of self-empowerment, resilience, and a strengths-based approach to healing.

There are many therapists to choose from, but the most important part of therapy is finding someone you feel comfortable with and can trust. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change. If you have any questions or would like to learn more, I welcome you to reach out.
